The Verzy forest and its unmissable Faux

Then make a detour through the vast Verzy forest pond network : their richness is essential to local biodiversity!

After this exotic getaway, it's up to you to climb the 286 meters of Mount Sinai ! On this highest point of the Montagne de Reims, an observatory dating from the First World War and classified as a Historic Monument allows you to watch the horizon like a dog. 

The Hautvillers forest

Bordering the sublime village of Hautvillers, famous birthplace of Champagne and the monk Dom Pérignon, this forest is home to several more than pleasant paths to get you on your feet!

Apprentice adventurers will love the Black Peak trail, which declines into two loops of 1 and 2 hours. For what ? Because this discovery trail a few kilometers from Épernay mixes fun explorations, sport and even comic strips! It is true that the Black Woodpecker and its feathered friends like to surprise you there, well hidden between the trees. The icing on the cake: the shorter of the two loops is accessible to strollers!  

Public chat 6 kilometers, Bubbles and Sketches trail will delight drawing enthusiasts and budding artists. All along the route, 10 workshops (in the form of drawing tables) offer you magnificent viewpoints and clever advice for sketching the landscapes around you with a pencil. There, 6 magnificent trees punctuate a 22 kilometer route (round trip): the Cavity Oak, the False Acacia Robinia, the Sainte-Catherine Oak, the Trois Frères, the Gros Cormier and the Cormier de Montrieul await you there with firm roots!
