Saturday, November 23, the Park and the Conservatory of natural spaces of Champagne-Ardenne organized a pond restoration project on the Natura 2000 site of Pâtis de Damery!
Despite the cold and the grey weather, the volunteers were there. Armed with loppers, mini-saws and bush pullers, the pines, willows and other woody plants were removed in order to bring light back to a pond so that it would be more welcoming for amphibians. The work was efficient and took place in a good mood!
We would particularly like to thank the participants who came together for this day!

This nature project was carried out as part of the “Animation 2023-2025 of Natura 2000 sites FR2100271 and FR2100312” co-financed by the European Union with the European Regional Development Fund and the Grand Est Region.
