As part of the restoration of the Green and Blue Network, the Park is relaunching its Call for projects for the creation and restoration of country hedges and conservation orchards !

The main objective is to recreate ecological continuities that promote biodiversity: hurdles provide shelter and food for our countryside birds, small mammals, and sometimes even large ones. They are essential for the free movement of species and their prosperity!

As to orchards, they are also very interesting for small wildlife which can find refuge in the grass left semi-tall under the trees, or for birds which share the harvest of fruits too high for the gardener.

Since 2019, nearly 8 km of hedges and 761 fruit trees have been planted!

In 2025, we are relaunching the project! Whether you are a municipality, a company or even an individual, everyone can apply for a project located in the Park territory.. The Park subsidizes up to 70% the planting project, including the plants, supplies such as mulch or potting soil, and the labor necessary for planting if the project leader does not wish to do it themselves.

A minimum of 30 shrubs or 5 fruit trees must be met for the project to be funded. The grant ceiling ranges from €1000 to €3000 per project leader, depending on the scale of the planting project.
