As part of the restoration of the Green and Blue Network, the Park is relaunching its call for projects for the creation and restoration of rural hedges and conservatory orchards!
The main objective is to recreate ecological continuities promoting biodiversity : hedges provide shelter and food for the birds of our countryside, small mammals and sometimes even large ones. They are essential to the free movement of cash and their prosperity!
As for the orchards, they are also very interesting for small wildlife which can find refuge in the grass left semi-high under the trees, or for the birds which share the harvest of fruits too tall for the gardener.
Since 2019, nearly 6 km of hedges and 500 fruit trees have been planted!
In 2023, we're relaunching the project!
Anyone can apply for a project located on the territory of the Park. The Park subsidizes up to 70% the planting project, including the plants, supplies such as mulch or potting soil, and the labor necessary for planting if the project leader does not wish to do it themselves.
Un minimum of 30 shrubs or 5 fruit trees must be respected for the project to be subsidized.
The subsidy ceiling varies from €1000 to €3000 per project leader depending on the scale of the planting project.
